Sign in with Apple
Some customers may choose to authenticate using Sign in with Apple. In these cases, Apple provides the customer with a private relay email address (ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com).
Why this Matters
- Certain flows in Breeze — such as Payin or Payout — may require OTP (one-time passcode) codes to be sent to your customer’s email
- Breeze also sends transactional emails such as receipts and notifications prompting customers to resume incomplete flows
- By default, Apple will only forward messages sent to the customer’s private relay address if the sender’s domain is whitelisted in your Apple Developer account
- If Breeze’s sending domain is not whitelisted, your customers may not receive OTP codes, receipts, or important notifications
Required Action
To ensure smooth operation for your customers:
- Add Breeze’s email-sending domain to your Apple Developer account whitelist
- This will allow Apple’s private relay service to forward OTPs, receipts, and other transactional communications to customers who sign in with Apple
Next Steps
For detailed instructions on how to set up the domain in your Apple Developer account, please reach out to Breeze Support.
